The Official To-Be-Read list.

I think I'm going to pressure myself to finish reading these new books that have been piling up for a while now; it's most unlike me. What better way to do this, than to mention them publicly and put myself under pressure as a result, eh? Lets hope the pressure to finish them mounts and that I finish these books with aplomb; books that have been accumulating as a result of this smaller matter of work, heh. :p

The list:

1. The Red Wolf Conspiracy - Robert V. S. Redick (and I was soooo looking forward to this book and all)
2. Empress - Karen Miller (as above, I just jumped and bought it because I loved her previous offerings)
3. Darkness that comes before - R. Scott Bakker
4. Wizard's First Rule - Terry Goodkind

The plan is to finish them over the coming week alone. I want to update my 50 book challenge! However, I expect disruptions in the form of new book distractions.

What's on your to-read asap list?

There is so much in my to-read ASAP list that it's ridiculous. Even yesterday i was in Waterstone's looking at the 3 for 2 offers and going 'oooh, i need to get that one!' every couple of minutes. I must finish the books i told you about before, though.

Oh that Waterstone's...
I know what you mean about that 3 for 2 offer. EVERY time that I'm in there, the books beckon and the offer stickers tempt me so wantonly so. I go in with the best of intentions and come out with at least 3 books. I don't know how they do it! That's on top of my Amazon buys at that, and over there I buy enough books just so I can get the Free delivery - so regardless of what happens, I spent at least 15 pounds in both places.

Ah well.

You know, straight after I made that list, I ended up reading an eBook I had instead.
